Possible spoilers for IV here, so if you're paranoid skip the first paragraph.

This idea came to me while going through the final dungeon of IV DS. One of the scenes in the original game that really stood out to me was the one when Edge tells Kain that he'll just get himself controlled again, to which Kain responds "Pray kill me if that happens." (I know they changed it in the DS version, but I like that line better). In the original nothing else became of this, but I liked in the DS version that Kain appeared to be fighting off Zemus all the way through the final dungeon. So the thought occurred to me that if it looked like he was going to betray the party again, what would their reaction be? I thought that Cecil and Rosa would be the ones trying to help him fight it off, while Edge would be prepared for the worst. But if it came to it, would Edge have it in him to fulfil Kain's request?

I know, I have very elaborate thoughts, but that's the reason I draw fanart. I both like and don't like the way this came out. I like the way I drew it, but the positions bother me a bit. And both Kain and Edge are really hard to give expressions since they both have half their face covered up. And the reason Rosa and Rydia aren't in this picture is that I couldn't fit them in, and as I've said before, I don't like to force things. Imagine they are there, but offscreen.
